Unfortunately, we have a strict no-pet policy due to various reasons. We recommend arranging a good sitter for your furry friend before visiting us.

Yes, all our cabins feature a wood-fired tub surrounded by beautiful pine forests, fynbos, and mountain views.

Yes, all our cabins are equipped with a fireplace (combustion oven) to keep warm during winter.

We are situated in WC, Overberg, +- 7 km from Botrivier on the Van der Stel Pass, on your left, we are a short drive from Capetown +- 70 minutes.

You can navigate to the book now button select dates and amount of persons then press search.

The available cabins will then show. You can the proceed to book. you will e required to pay via eft straight after booking to complete the reservation you have to send pop as requested straight after booking is made. Kids under 5 are added as extras before completing reservation, kids aged 5 and above you can select as adults. Please make sure of max occupancy per cabin

To secure your booking, a 50% deposit is required immediately after booking if your check-in date is more than 14 business days away. The remaining balance is due 7 business days before your arrival. If your check-in date is within 14 business days, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Check-in time is 15:00pm - 17:00pm.

Check-out time is strictly 10:00 am.

Please note we don't allow check-outs as our staff follows schedules and we only have limited time to finish cleaning and getting the cabin ready. Fines will be given for late check-outs this is accepted on booking.

No all outstanding fees have to be paid in full for your reservation before arrival.

If you would like t add an item on the list of extras like wood ext. this will be payable via eft before delivery.

You will receive a email asking you to pay for your booking directly after completing your reservation online, with bank details. Only after payment is your spot reserved and completed this is required directly after booking. If pop is not received the booking will automatically be cancelled and you will be required to rebook when ready to pay.

You will also receive a second email with required documents you will have to send back before check-in day, signed initialed tcs and cs, ID copy and vehicle photo.

We have a 2 night minimum stay on weekends Fridays and Saturdays bookable together, no check-in and check-outs on Saturdays.

Although we always suggest 2 nights for you to fully enjoy your stay and relax week nights Sunday-Thursday can be booked only 1 night.

We have 3 Cabins.

Rooi Assie is our 2 Adults Max cabin no kids.

Blouberg is our 2 Adults Max cabin no kids.

Witklip Takes 6 persons Max and is our kid friendly Cabin.

All Cabins can be booked together as well meaning 10 persons max. If you want to make this bulk booking please contact us for assistance.

Yes, even though we have rugged gravel road on our farm its is accessible via car most of our guest travel with all sorts of cars. It is at own risk though. the Van der Stel Pass is also regularly scraped and kept in good condition.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: If you cancel more than 30 days before your arrival date, you will receive a 25% refund or you can move your booking date once, provided the rate and cabin remain the same. If you cancel 30 days or less before your arrival date, no refund or date changes will be provided, and full payment is required. Please note that these policies are strictly enforced to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

After you have sent back completed documentation we sent on booking.

You will receive all the check-in details via whatsapp to the number provided on booking please make certain you provide the correct number on booking, otherwise we will not be able to send you our very thorough check-in details. and you will not be able to access our property there is no check-in reception and you will not be able to access the property otherwise.

Yes we have WiFi at Blouberg and Witklip, not Rooi Assie yet. Our initial approach is to get people away from tech in nature, eco , off-grid with a luxury feel. But now there are options if you can't getaway without having to reach out. There is also full cell signal at all the Cabins.

So you will be able to use your devices without issues at Rooi Assie as well.

Our cabins do not have plugs. Only a plug for charging devices (phones, laptops, camera). No heated elements and other extra appliances allowed. The cabins are equipped with solar lights and fridges, gas for stove tops (hobs), and gas-heated water. Each cabin also has a fireplace for heating and an outdoor braai area.
